Tagore’s ideas and work towards world change are clearly evident in some of his poetry. Two poems are particularly relevant: ‘Call Me Back to Work’ from 1894 and the early stage of his 50 years of rural reconstruction, the other ‘They Work’ from 1941, the last year of his life.
